Maxwell Simba (born March 21, 2005) is a Kenyan Actor from Nairobi, Kenya. He became famous with his role of William Kamkwamba in the Netflix movie “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” 2019. The movie is based on a story where a boy in Malawi helps his community by creating a wind turbine after reading about them in a library book.
Furthermore, the 13-year-old actor played a lead character in the movie. The film is a true story which is based on the autobiography of the same name by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer.
Moreover, the movie was released on the 1st of March 2019 on the Netflix platform. Earlier, it screened in the Premieres section at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on January 25, 2019. The director of this hit project is Chiwetel Ejiofor. He is a Nigerian English actor and played the role of William’s father named Trywell Kamkwamba.
